![]() ![]() So reason 4 - Having to spend mental energy on repairing, or checking each characters suit before I actually go out to do content, is extremely boring and negative. You have no idea how many sashes I went through pvping, and to just know I never have to expend mental energy on that 1 piece ever again, is worth its weight in gold. I also save all my gold to collect plats to buy Items like an original Lieutenants Sash, and original +20 stealth cloak. I put a lot of my focus into collecting game Artefacts where I can, because they are fully repairable. I use Brittle or Imbued, purely because I am forced to by the game, I've quit over this before I hate it so much. I just hate the entire concept of built in obsolescence. Random pieces are impossible to find again that are the same. Then if I lose 1 item, out of a seriously hard earned, long fought put together suit, made up of completely random properties that took forever to get right, I've basically lost the entire suit. At the point they get to 80/80, the repairing becomes too frequent, and at that point I usually ditch the item I'm too fed up with repairing every 5 seconds. Brittle or Imbued do not last forever, they go down to 0/255, then if you are in the middle of a hunt, you lose a bit, then you repair it, and lose 1 at that point, next thing you know it's 253/253. I can pretty much only get close to completing 1 character. It takes a long time to put a suit together, and you have a lot of suits to build for a lot of characters. Reason 2 - I am very active, I play a lot. Reason 1 - Why is it even there? Why does this game feel that to give you something, they have to take something away, it ruins the feel of it. I also hate Prized, Antique, Cursed, and every other negative mod they put onto armour. I'm happy to be the example the OP is talking about. We need something.I hate Brittle, and I hate Imbued. Send your ideas in for that crafting revamp though. But it's here and should be more easily available to everyone and not sitting on auction blocks for insane prices. I never liked this loot system to begin with. I don't think this artifact loot system was meant to be forever pieces though. I certainly don't think or hope they wouldn't think it's ok for certain pieces to sell in the hundreds of mil area. I'd like greater reforged to be buffed and for crafting to have full property options and greater control, less random. I don't care if this renders me unable to pvp or pvm, I'll just become a hermit in Felucca. I'm about to trash all my legendary gears to go back to greater reforged I'm so tired of it all. ![]() Last thing I want is to spend my entire game time repairing or switching over ill fitting badly suited armour parts.įar as I am concerned, you can keep your game style, but please buff my game style to be more competitive in today's game. I know a lot of players believe this, I personally really don't. If I did have the position to change, I think a more bountiful spawn of legendary armor and jewels with lower durability would tend to keep interest going. I know this is true, and no item in question is antique, only brittle legendary artifacts. In talking with others about this they skim over what I've wrote and just say antique things wear faster than brittle. The rest of my armor, which all has titles (example: Hawkwind's Robe) is at pretty low durability, could this be incurring a greater hit upon the newer brittle pieces, which had a maxed out 255/255 durability? In which case, would it be prudent to repair all the other armor to max to protect the new brittle pieces from wearing faster? Could it be possible that brittle items wear down quickly for the first few points, but then plateau after some amount of wear and stop depreciating so rapidly? The new items have more properties, some of which are "eater" properties, and some are health and stamina regeneration properties, which the older brittle items do not have. All items in question, old and new, are legendary artifacts. Last night I played for an hour with the new brittle items and they wore down 4-5 points in about an hour. I'd been wearing some brittle items for months and they only wore down about 60 points. I'm noticing that some new brittle pieces I've been wearing are deteriorating very quickly compared to other brittle items.
